Amarillo Globe News 16 April 1998 Jefferson William Sanders BOISE CITY, Okla. - Jefferson William "Jeff" Sanders, 40, died Tuesday, April 14, 1998. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Garlington Cemetery with Nathan Morgan and Bob Hobbs officiating. Arrangements are by Cimarron Mortuary. Mr. Sanders was born in Boise City. In 1975, he graduated from Boise City High School, where he was active in bull riding and rodeos. After high school, he enlisted in the Army, serving from 1976 to 1979 before being honorably discharged. He then attended Panhandle State University at Goodwell, Rocky Mountain College at Glenwood Springs, Colo., and Amarillo College at Amarillo. While he was in Amarillo, Mr. Sanders went into radio communications as a disc jockey. He also worked for Western GEO Physical for three years. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church.
