Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Felt Baptist Church with the Rev. Alvin Bartlett and the Rev. Jeff Bradley officiating. Burial will be in Bertrand Cemetery by Cimarron Mortuary in Boise City, Okla. Mrs. Schnaufer was born in Shattuck, Okla. She married Timothy A. "Tim" Schnaufer in 1927 at Boise City. They lived in the Campo, Colo., area for a few years. They owned a farm outside of Boise City, where Mrs. Schnaufer lived most of her life. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Campo and attended services at First Baptist Church in Felt for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Russell Schnaufer; and a daughter, Faye Bernice Schnaufer. Survivors include a daughter, Francis Elnora Slaton of Austin; three sisters, Louisa Copenhaver and Edyth Lowder, both of Springfield, Colo., and Oleatha Harper of La Junta, Colo.; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Cimarron County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/cimarron/cimarron.htm
