::Willowbar Cemetery--Keyes OK

Emily Snider
KEYES, Okla. - Emily Snider, 91, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Keyes Baptist Church with Jason Kearney officiating. Burial will be in Willowbar Cemetery by Cimarron Mortuary of Boise City.
Mrs. Snider was born in Westfork, Ark. She attended school at Willowbar and graduated from Cimarron County High School. She received her teaching certificate from Panhandle A&M College. She taught in one-room schools in Cimarron County and Campo, Colo.
Mrs. Snider helped her husband on their farm near Keyes. Her garden products won several awards at the Cimarron County Fair. She was a charter member of Keyes Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and played the piano and organ.
A past 4-H leader, Mrs. Snider was a member of the Oklahoma Retired Teachers Association, Oklahoma Economic Development Association and the Keyes Senior Citizens.
She married Gorman Snider in 1941 at Keyes. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ray of Oklahoma City; a son, Lanny Snider of Amarillo; a sister, Mildred Williams of Keyes; and four grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Keyes Baptist Church or the Baptist Children's Home which may be left in care of the mortuary.
