Earl Whitfield

KEYES, Okla. - William Earl Whitfield, 72, died Monday, April 14, 
1997, in Montrose, Colo.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Willowbar 
Cemetery with the Rev. Del Watkins officiating. Arrangements are by 
Cimarron Mortuary of Boise City.

Mr. Whitfield was born west of Keyes. He attended Keyes public school 
and was active in sports. He drove a school bus and the activity bus. 
He enjoyed farming and was involved in it for most of his life.

He married Nancy Wiggins. He was a member of Keyes United Methodist 
Church.

He was preceded in death by a son, Darrell.

Survivors include a son, Lance Whitfield of Keyes; two sisters, 
Dorothy Kohler of Boise City and Earlene Crews of Keyes; and three 
grandsons.

The family requests memorials be to Keyes United Methodist Church. 
Memorials may be left in care of Cimarron Mortuary.
