Kenneth Williams

DUMAS - Kenneth Williams, 71, died Thursday, June 5, 2003, in 
Amarillo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Eddie Tubbs, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas 
Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Mr. Williams was born Jan. 11, 1932, in Denison, to Carl T. and 
Murtle Russell Williams. He graduated from high school in Spur in 
1949. He had worked for Excel Helium Plant for more than 31 years. He 
was raised in the Church of Christ and later became a member of the 
United Methodist Church in Keyes, Okla. He married Joanna Finchum on 
Aug. 20, 1984.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Carl Williams of California; a 
daughter, Rhonda Barnum of Keyes; two stepsons, James Finchum of 
Lubbock and Billy L. Williams of Kansas; a stepdaughter, Lisa 
Matthysse of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and five great-
grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral 
home.
