Services have been scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 12, 2005, at Norman's First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Bob Rice officiating. Interment will follow at Norman I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Vance, Kirby, Milam, Blaine, and Arthur Aiken & Dennis Buettner. Honorary Bearers will be Norman Senior Citizen Center. Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman. Mrs. Aiken was born November 29, 1915, in Edmond, Kansas to David Alexander and Grace Conkey Crawford. She moved to Norman, Oklahoma from Emporia, Kansas in 1961. Berlah was a teacher and real estate invester. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Senior Citizen's Center, A.A.U.W., and was past president of O.U. Dames. Beulah was also a Camp Fire Leader and a volunteer for Norman Public Schools. She loved to play bridge and was a music and travel enthusiast. She was treasurer of the Presbyterian Thrift Shop for many years. Mrs . Aikenwas preceded in death by her husband, James Riley Aiken, in 1980; her parents, one sister, and one great- grandchild. She is survived by three sons, Vance Aiken of Norman, Kirby Aiken and wife, Jeanne, of Norman, and Milam Aiken of Oxford, Mississippi; two daughters, Martha Peters, of Tulsa, and Taska Buettner and husband, Dennis, of Norman, grandchildren, William Blaine Aiken, Chelle Danner, Geoffrey Peters, Sean Peters, Jacob Peters, Arthur Aiken, Amy Aiken, Emily Aiken, Stephanie Buettner, Lindsey Buettner, and Courtney Buettner, and five great- grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Norman Senior Citizen's Center.
