Alexander passed away on Oct. 23, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Norman on February 25, 1951, Bob was one of a set of twins born to George and Tia Juana Alexander. Raised in Moore, he graduated from Moore High School in 1969, and began his work career as a machinist for Demco (now Cooper Cameron Valves) in Oklahoma City. He advanced his career at Demco as a Quality Inspector, Quality Assurance Coordinator and Quality Supervisor over a period of 22 years. In 1990 he accepted the position of Quality Manager for Ingram Cactus (now Cameron) which was purchased by Cooper Cameron Corp. in 1995. With his service time bridged, Bob completed 32 years with Cooper Cameron where his knowledge and dedication to his chosen career of Quality Assurance were highly respected. A quiet man who loved his family and home, his 'million dollar smile' will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Preceded in death by his parents, and mother-in law, Peggy Densford, Bob is survived by his wife. Carla, of the home; father-in-law, Dick Densford of Seminole; son, David Alexander of Okla. City; daughter, Traci Elliott and husband, Frank, of Oklahoma City, and stepdaughter, Tara Meneely and husband, Andrew of Shawnee; granddaughter, Heavin Taliaferro and grandson, Andrew Elliott of Oklahoma City; sister, Lea Casstevens and husband, Bill of Oklahoma City, brother, Jim Alexander and Patricia Alexander of Oklahoma, and twin sister, Barbara Williams and husband, Billy, of McLoud; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. Service celebrating his life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Fri., Oct. 25, 2002 at Vondel L. Smith & Son, 6934 S. Western, with interment at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, OK.
