All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== :: Havenbrook Funeral Home Obituary WILLIAM DEAN (Bill) ARBUCKLE Bill Arbuckle, 52, of Norman, Oklahoma died Saturday, May 21, 2005, in Norman, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., on Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at Havenbrook Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at The First Christian Church in Norman with Dr. G. Hugh Wilson and Reverend Gary Hardwick officiating. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman. Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma. Mr. Arbuckle was born October 5, 1952, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Edward and Wanda (Adams) Arbuckle. He graduated from Marshall High School in Marshall, Illinois. He received an Associate Degree in Petroleum Technology from Lincoln Trail Community College in Robinson, Illinois and also attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Norman, of the Masonic Lodge in West Union, Illinois and a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Danville, Illinois. Bill married Vicky Lynn Floyd on October 12, 1974, in Clinton, Illinois and in 1975, they moved to Oklahoma. Mr. Arbuckle worked for Chaparral Energy for six years in Oklahoma City, as an energy production manager. Bill was a loving father and husband, who loved life and was an avid fisherman. Everyone he met was a friend, his gentle kindness and quick wit brought joy to the lives he touched. Survivors include his wife, Vicky Arbuckle, of the home; two daughters, Nicole and Sarah Arbuckle, of Norman; his parents, Edward and Wanda Arbuckle, of Marshall, Ill; and sister, Kathy Malone and husband, Mike, of Marshall, Ill.
