Beth was born October 11, 1921 in Lexington, Oklahoma. She was the sole survivor of eleven children born to Hattie and Alva Higbee. In November 1940 she married Clyde Bishop. They stayed in California for the remainder of their lives. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde and her daughter, Carol Lynn. As part of one of the greatest American generations, she knew first hand the hardships of the Depression, the uncertainty of war and the joy of family and friends. She loved gardening, canning her own fruits and vegetables, sewing, crocheting, and reading. Her favorite hobby though was spending time loving and laughing with her family and friends. Beth's blessings were many but she was most proud of her children and their families. She loved and valued each person who shared small or large parts in her life. Her presence and spirit which surrounded her family will be greatly missed but carried on through her tree of life. Beth is survived by her children, Clyde Edward Bishop, Danny Ray Bishop and his wife, Cecilia. Her grandchildren, Kathleen Diane Reed and her husband, Alan, Jennifer LeAnn Perkins, Brenda Jean Decker , Shawn Aaron Bishop and his wife, Kelly, Todd Allen Bishop and his wife, Rebecca, Sabrina Cheri Bishop and Michael Edward Bishop and his wife, Jennifer.
