Mildred F Bethel

Mildred F. Bethel, 88, of Gans died Tuesday, July 22, in Norman. The 
family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Agent Funeral Home in 
Sallisaw. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gans Bible Church with 
the Rev. Charles Sparkman officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens 
Cemetery in Muldrow. Mrs. Bethel was born June 22, 1915, in Sebastian 
County, Ark., to John Joseph and Francis Columbus Kincade Fischer. She was 
a retired postmaster at Gans Post Office. Mrs. Bethel is survived by her 
daughter, Wanda L. Blake of Norman; son, Lander L. Bethel of Norman; 17 
grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; 
and half-brother, Waldo Brown Fischer of Seneca, Mo.
