Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, died August 11, 2005, at home at the age of 55 surrounded be those who he loved, and who loved him dearly. He was born January 20, 1950, to Ruth and Charles Bennett in Seminole, OK. Ed graduated from Seminole High School as a Valedictorian and class president in 1968. He continued his education attending The University of Oklahoma, College of Pharmacy, where he graduated in May of 1973. Ed took a job at the pharmacy with the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oklahoma City where he worked for 32 years achieving the title of Associate Chief of Pharmacy. Ed was survived by his wife of 15 years, Dawnette Bennett, and his children Gail and Greg West, of Santa Ana, CA, and Lisa and Jeff Kuhns, of Norman, OK, and grandson Cody Kuhns, and Kyle and Julie Bennett, of Norman, OK, and grandchildren Brooke and Kolton Bennett, and daughter, Erin Latham of Norman, OK, and many nieces and nephews. Ed was hardworking, energetic, outgoing, and loved by everyone. He enjoyed playing golf, but his true passion was love for his family. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to The American Cancer Society in Ed's name by calling 800-227-2345. Arrangements are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.
