All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::IOOF Cemetery--Norman OK Havenbrook Funeral Home Obituary Helen Mary Bohanan Helen Mary Bohanan, 94, of Norman, Oklahoma, died Sunday, August 21, 2005, in Norman, Oklahoma. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 25, 2005, at Norman I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Reverend John L. Roberts officiating. Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma. Mrs. Bohanan was born June 14, 1911, in Norman, Oklahoma, to Jim and Anna Wilson. She graduated high school in Norman and married George Bohanan in 1953. She was a homemaker all of her married life and followed her husband, white he was in the Air Force, to Germany and other parts of the world before coming back to the United States. After returning from the military they made their home in Norman. Mrs. Bohanan loved to visit with people but her greatest love in later years was playing bingo. Mrs. Bohanan was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters, Ad Turman, Grace Macsalka and Jett Roberts; brother, Bud Wilson; and her husband, George. Survivors include sister, Faye Trueblood of Columbia, SC.; three nephews, Don Wilson and wife, Shirley, of Norman, Tom Turman of San Diego, CA, and Jack Turman of Pratt, KS; two nieces, Pat Barnes and husband, Bob, of Georgetown, Texas, and Doris Watts, of Bakersfield, CA; niece by marriage, Carol Bohanan of Bethany; and numerous great and greatgreat-nieces and nephews.
