Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Noble United Methodist Church with the Rev. James Kim officiating. Memorial Chapel Funeral Service in Noble is handling arrangements. Mrs. Bergstrom was born Feb. 13, 1923, in Marion, Ill., to Raymond and Myrtle (Odum) Sullivan. She attended school in Joilet, Ill., and graduated from Joilet Township High School. She married Doyle Kelly May 19, 1943, in St. Petersburg, Fla. They lived in Noble for 20 years. Mr. Kelly died Nov. 21, 1999. Ruth married John Bergstrom in October 2001 at Noble United Methodist Church. She worked for Sears and Mary Kay Products. She was a member of Noble United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Bergstrom was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Bergstrom is survived by her son, Kevin and wife, Michele Kelly, of Cedar Falls, Iowa; daughters, Necia and husband, Dale Herriman, of Houston and Maureen Kelly of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; grandchildren, Elisa and husband, Michael Carter, of North Carolina, Jonah and wife, Christa Sharkey, of San Francisco, Kevin Kelly of Chicago, Meagan and husband, Tim Fitzpatrick, of Sioux City, Iowa, and Brian Kelly of Charleston, Ill.; brother-in-law, J.W. Kelly of Purcell; and other family members and friends.
