Vicki J. Brady, 61, of Norman died Saturday, Aug. 2, in Oklahoma City. The 
family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Primrose Funeral 
Home in Norman. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Primrose Chapel 
with the Rev. Richard Virtue officiating. Burial will be at Kern River 
Valley Cemetery District in Kernville, Calif. Primrose Funeral Service is 
handling arrangements. Mrs. Brady was born April 22, 1942, in Bell, 
Calif., to John H. and Meredith (Tilcock) Williams. She married Jerry R. 
Brady May 30, 1964, in Bell. She moved to Norman from Chickasha in 1971. 
She taught at Lakeview School for 26 years from 1975 to 1999. She was a 
member of the National Education Association, Oklahoma Education 
Association and Norman Teacher’s Association. She was a member of St. 
John’s Episcopal Church and the Eastern Star. Mrs. Brady was preceded in 
death by her father, John H. Williams. Mrs. Brady is survived by her 
husband, Jerry R. Brady of the home; mother, Meredith Williams of Weldon, 
Calif.; sons, Jerry R. Brady Jr. of San Diego, Cary K. Brady of Portland, 
Ore., and John C. Brady of Oak Harbor, Wash.; daughters, Merri J. Kirkland 
of Sydney, Australia, and Shari C. Brady of Norman; and grandchildren, 
Alyx, Archer, Tenzing, Silas, Cari, Josh, Savanna and Tori. Bearers will 
be Cary K., Cari J., Jerry R. and John C. Brady, Merri J. Kirkland and
