All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Butler, Lois Jean (Jeanne) Lois Jean (Jeanne) Butler of Scottsdale and Prescott, passed away peacefully in Prescott on August 27, 2007. Born September 23, 1924 in Lexington, Oklahoma, to Thomas J. and Linnie Mae Williams. Jeanne grew up on a farm in Oklahoma. She met her future husband Le Butler at a dance at Tinker Field during WWII. They married in Boston on September 7, 1945, and were happily married for over 60 years. She was a successful model in New York City in her first few years of marriage, and a wonderful homemaker for the rest of her life. Her interests included gardening, cooking, and providing volunteer service at Riverside Hospital in Boonton, New Jersey, and later at the Scottsdale Memorial Hospital in Arizona. Le was a Captain for TWA for 37 years which allowed the two of them to travel the world for many years. Jeanne never spoke a harsh or angry word. She was a terrific example of warmth, kindness, and gentleness. She raised her 3 children in righteousness, and lived her life by the "Golden Rule". Le and Jeanne spent the first half of their married life in Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. They then moved to Arizona to be with their grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Le, son's Bill (Suzanne) and Terry, 3 grandchildren, Aaron (Cincere Lee), Ben (Jamie), and Alyssa (Nate), 7 great-grandchildren, and sister Phylis Weese. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J. Williams and mother Linnie Mae Arnold, her borther Thomas Williams and sister Norween Wimmer, and daughter Lisa Morrison. She left a legacy of love that will live in our hearts forever. She will be missed by friends and family alike. A memorial service is pending celebrate Jeanne's life will be held at the home of Bill & Suzanne Butler. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
