She was the wife of John H. CASEY, long-time University of Oklahoma School of Journalism faculty member. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian Church with Dr. E. Kenneth FEAVER officiating. Entombment will be in the IOOF Mausoleum directed by Mayes Funeral Directors. Mrs. CASEY was born Feb 22, 1893, in Earltown, Nova Scotia, and came to Norman in 1927 from Columbia, MO. She held a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a past president of the Women’s Association of the church. She was also a member of the League of Women Voters and the Wednesday Book Club and was active in Democrat party affairs. She was a member of the 27 Club, a group formed in 1927 by women associated with OU. Survivors in addition to her husband include three daughters, Mrs. Catherine HEMENWAY, New York City, Mrs. Jody MARTIN 811 W. Imhoff St., and Mary Ellen TURNER, Lexington, Mass., and five grandchildren.
