Cotter Dorothy H. Cotter, 82, of Norman, Oklahoma, died Saturday, April 9, 2005, in Norman, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Chicago, Illinois. Arrangements are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma. Mrs. Cotter was born August 28, 1922, in Chicago, Illinois, to Michael and Pearl (Ingebretsen) Tholl. She grew up in Chicago and graduated from Fenger High School in Chicago. She worked for a number of businesses as an accountant-bookkeeper Dorothy married William Daniel Cotter in 1953. They lived in Chicago before moving to Bartlesville, Oklahoma in 1972. In Bartlesville, she was a member of the Gourmet Club, a Camping Club, a Square Dance Club and she was a realtor. Dorothy was a member of St. James Parish Church in Bartlesville. She and William moved to Norman in 1990, to be closer to their family. In Norman, she attended St Thomas More University Parish Church for a number of years. Mrs. Cotter was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William, in 1994; and her brother, Michael Tholl. Survivors include three daughters, Jacqueline Cotter-Kirtley and husband, Michael, of Colorado, Colette Barger and husband, Barry, of Norman, OK and Anette McMahan and husband, Gary, of Tulsa, OK; son, Donald William Cotter and wife, Karen, of Oklahoma City, OK; four sisters, Annabelle Hesser, of Chicago, IL, Lillian Pasquarella and husband, Silvio, of Chicago, IL, Mildred Erffmeyer and husband, Ernest, of Chicago, IL and Jacqueline Kimmel and husband, Robert, of St Louis, MO; two brothers, Henry Tholl and wife, Bernice, of Florida and Edward Tholl of Chicago, IL; six grandchildren, Morgan, Jordan and Max Barger, all of Norman, OK, Kyle Kirtley of Colorado, Kaitlyn and Sean McMahan, of Tulsa, OK.
