All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::IOOF Cemetery--Norman OK Havenbrook Funeral Home Obituary Helen Evanoff Coley Helen Evanoff Coley, 91,of Norman, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at home, after suffering a stroke. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Friday, May 13, 2005, at Havenbrook Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 A.M., Saturday, May 14, 2005, at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church in Norman with Reverend Phil Fenn officiating. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma. Mrs. Coley was born April 22, 1914, in Bovey, Minnesota. She was one of eight children of Marco and Stella Evanoff, who emigrated from Bulgaria, at the age of thirty. Helen attended Classen High School in Oklahoma City. Helen and Oren Dee Coley were united in marriage in Guthrie, Oklahoma, in January 1936. The couple resided in Oklahoma City before moving to Norman in 1953. She was a member of McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church, the Legacy Antique Club, and the National Rose Society and Garden Club. Mrs. Coley also volunteered at Norman Regional Hospital and was treasurer of her bowling league. Her passions were her children, her home and her flowers. Survivors include her brother, John Evanoff, of Oklahoma City; son, Gary Coley, of Dibble, OK; three daughters, Dorla Coley Fudge, of Marlboro, MA, Karen Coley Gregory, of Norman, and Lynna Thompson, of Norman; nine grandchildren, Brian Coley, David Coley, Cheryl Haagensen, Steven Coley, Coley Fudge, Tracey Fudge, Christopher Hanna, Hunter Gregory and Brooke Gregory; and three great grandchildren.
