Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at McMahans Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at McMahans Chapel in Noble with Heath Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at the Noble IOOF Cemetery. McMahans Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Mrs. Coles was born Jan. 17, 1920, in Cleveland County, to Jennie Belle (Farmer) and Jesse Valentine Ketner. She attended Alamo School. She married Charles E. Coles June 8, 1940. She is remembered as a devoted homemaker and lived in Norman and Noble her entire life. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, flowers and quilting. She was a member of Maguire Baptist Church. Mrs. Coles was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers; one sister; one great-grandson; and one son-in-law. Mrs. Coles is survived by her husband, Charles E. Coles of the home; children, Charles R. Coles and wife, Joyce, of Noble, Doris Donwerth of Norman, Wanda Mayfield of Norman, Anita Donwerth and husband, Dennis, of Noble and Joyce Demet of Maurice, La.; grandchildren, Sandra Jenkins, Lorie Smith, Charlotte Deroon, Eddie, Brad and Scott Donwerth, Ken, Kevin and Kristen Mayfield, Denise Dicksion and Cory, Jessica Demet and Jeremy Demet; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister-in-law, Sylvia Ketner; and many other family and friends. Bearers will be Mrs. Coles' grandchildren.
