Winston was born to John and Lucy Chandler, on September 5, 1930 in Reydon, Oklahoma. He was a Korean War Veteran in the U.S. Army and retired after 30 years of civil service at Timker AFB as a Logistic Management Officer. He was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church. One of his greatest pleasurers was breeding and showing Arabian Horses and he was a member of the Oklahoma Arabian Horse Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters. Winston is survived by his wife of 57 years, Veda (Wright)Chandler; daughter, Karen and husband, Larry Jobe; 2 grandchildren, Lauren and Daniel Jobe, numberous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held on May 3, 2007 at the Barnes and Johnson FH Chapel with burial at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
