Norman Transcript 13 May 2003

W. Elton Cary

W. Elton Cary, 100, of Norman died Saturday, May 10, at his home. Services 
will be today at First Christian Church in Hobart with the Rev. Dorian 
Myers officiating. Burial will be at Hobart Rose Cemetery. Hackney-Gish 
Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Mr. Cary married Lois Ann Nov. 4, 1939.

Mr. Cary was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel B. and Mary A. Cary; 
daughter, Marianne Flagler; sisters, Eunice Jackson, Lola Caldwell, Lily 
Mitchell, Nola Murphy and Florence Cary; and brother, George Cary.

Mr. Cary is survived by his wife, Lois Ann Cary; son, Dan Cary and wife, 
Bernetta, of Norman; three granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
