Burial will be at Noble IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Wadley's Funeral Service in Purcell. Mrs. Conner was born Jan. 28, 1930, to James and Willie (Wilson) Goodman in Fort Smith, Ark. She died Tuesday, Aug. 21, at Norman Regional Hospital at the age of 77. Mrs. Conner had lived in the Norman area since 1983. She was raised and attended school in Fort Smith. On July 20, 1960, she and Charles Conner were married in Stillwell. Mrs. Conner retired from the University of Oklahoma as a telephone receptionist. She was a member of the India Shrine Clowns in Oklahoma City. She was of the Protestant faith and a loving wife and a wonderful mother, family said. She enjoyed camping, fishing, riding at the lake and second chance animal shelter. Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Charles Conner of the home; sons Roger Van Dalsem and Gayle of Tulsa, Bobby Van Dalsem and Chung of Seattle and William Van Dalsem of Tulsa; brother Hansel Goodman of California; grandchildren Chris Van Dalsem, William Van Dalsem, Robert Van Dalsem and Roger Van Dalsem; and many other relatives and friends.
