Jaymie Duckett

Jaymie Duckett, 27, of Norman died Saturday, Sept. 6, in Norman. The family will 
receive guests at a memorial service from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Primrose 
Funeral Service.

Ms. Duckett was born June 24, 1976, in Panama City, Fla., to James T. and Cheryl 
Kay (Begley) Duckett.

She graduated from Norman High School in 1994 and was pursuing a degree in 
psychology.

She is survived by her parents of the home; a brother, Steven Duckett of the home; 
a sister, Jessica Duckett of the home; paternal grandmother, Ruth Duckett of 
Chesapeake, Va.; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Wilma Begley of Lakeland, Fla.; 
aunts and uncles, Jean Shepherd of Sarasota, Fla., Larry and Carolyn White of 
Chesapeake, Va., Brenda and Edward Sell of Lakeland, Fla., Karen and Dale Pedley of 
Lakeland, Fla., Linda Neese of Lakeland, Fla., and Mark Begley of Lake Wales, Fla.; 
special family friends, Ben and Kay Brewster of Norman; and many loving cousins and 
friends.

Jaymie Duckett, 27, of Norman died Saturday, Sept. 6, in Norman. The family will

the fullest, never lost hope, her love of life or her sense of humor throughout her 
courageous battle with leukemia. She is survived by her parents of the home; a

paternal grandmother, Ruth Duckett of Chesapeake, Va.; maternal grandparents, 
Ernest and Wilma Begley of Lakeland, Fla.; aunts and uncles, Jean Shepherd of
