All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Jim Paul Dickinson 06/10/03 Jim Paul Dickinson, 76, died Sunday, June 8, at the Norman Veterans Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Guardian Mayes Funeral Directors Chapel in Norman. Guardian Mayes Funeral Directors is handling arrangements. Mr. Dickinson was born March 15, 1927, in Ninnekah, to F.C. and Fern (Pence) Dickinson. He graduated from Norman High School in 1946 and attended the University of Oklahoma. He married Charleene Minor Dec. 28, 1950. He served in the Merchant Marines before joining the Air Force in 1950. He enjoyed aviation, built airplanes and later built model airplanes. Mr. Dickinson was preceded in death by his wife. Mr. Dickinson is survived by his children, James Scott Dickinson and wife, Elaine, of Seattle, Leigh Natale and husband, Pino, of Las Vegas and Lynn Whitten and husband, Kevin, of Kansas City, Kan.; four grandchildren; sister, Janeil Bourland of Norman; sister-in-law, L'Deane Trueblood of St. George, Utah; and niece, Paula Jo Allen of Norman. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Cleveland County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/cleveland/cleveland.html
