All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Summit View Cemetery--Guthrie OK William Irvin 'Bill' Davidson The Norman Transcript - William Irvin "Bill" Davidson, 73, of Norman died Saturday, April 1, at the Veterans Medical Center in Norman. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie, with Chaplain John Gober of Good Shepherd Hospice, Oklahoma City, officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be today until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until noon. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie. Mr. Davidson was born Sept. 4, 1932, in Wichita, Kan., to Irvin and Mildred Evelyn (McKenzie) Davidson and attended Guthrie High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict and received an Honorable Discharge. After his discharge, he worked in the oil fields and retired from OneOk. He and Jeanene Phyllis Bernicke were married in Guthrie. Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Royce Davidson. Survivors include his wife Jeanene of the home; two sons, Ronald Davidson, South Carolina, and Paul Davidson, Noble; two daughters, Carolyn Davidson, Westland, Mich., and Alicia Davidson-Littlefield and Matt, Norman; three sisters, Betty Evans, Guthrie, Vina Egelston and C.J., Guthrie, and Hazel Hauser and Arlynn, Bethany; and four grandchildren, Caitlyn Davidson, Heather Barfield, Kale Littlefield and Kenna Littlefield.
