All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Everett, Kent Taylor Kent Taylor Everett, 46, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2002 in Moore, Oklahoma. He was born June 3, 1956 in Artesia, New Mexico to Van and Marilyn (Cox) Everett. He graduated high school in Clovis, New Mexico in 1974 and graduated college from ENMU in 1978. He married Diana Lynn Falks on June 12, 1976 in Clovis. They moved to Oklahoma in 1979 where Kent was employed by Safeway/Homeland until he retired in 1996. He then began a new career with Anderson News Corporation of Oklahoma City. Kent was a member of Kingsview Free Will Baptist Church where he and Diana were very active in the children's ministry. He also loved coaching his son's little league Baseball team, the Knights, and thoroughly enjoyed watching his eldest son play baseball from little league through college. Kent is survived by: his wife, Diana; two sons, Taylor Jason and Tristen Lyn, all of the home; Taylor's fiancee, Bobbie Wood, of Norman, Oklahoma; his parents, Van and Marilyn Everett of Clovis, New Mexico; two brothers: Vance Everett and Scott Everett, both of Clovis, New Mexico; one sister, Kimberly Lord and her husband Mike Lord of Winnsboro, Louisiana; many nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends and family. Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 21, 2002 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens. Officiating will be Kent's long-time friend and pastor, Kevin Daniels. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to: Good Shepherd Hospice, 4411 Highline Boulevard, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73108-1865.
