Feaver Elizabeth L. Feaver, 89, died Saturday, Sept. 27, in Cooney Convalescent Home in Helena, Mont. She had suffered for several years from Alzheimer's disease. Services are pending at Plymouth Congregational Church in Helena. Mrs. Feaver was born Elizabeth Langlois Wicher Dec. 18, 1913, in San Anselmo, Calif., to a violinist mother and a father who taught Old Testament at the San Francisco Theological Seminary. She grew up on the grounds of the seminary, saw both of her brothers go into the ministry, and married one of her father's students, Kenneth Feaver. Mr. Feaver died in Helena in 1985. He was pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Norman from 1948-75. Mrs. Feaver accompanied her husband to Presbyterian churches in Sacramento, Calif., Laramie, Wyo., and finally Norman. She often taught Sunday school, was hostess to at least one women's circle meeting a week, was the emergency accompanist for hymn singing and was a soprano in the church choir. She sponsored the weekly Junior High Fellowship group for at least 15 years. She majored in French at the University of California at Berkeley and completed a master's degree in French years later at the University of Oklahoma. She briefly taught French for Norman Public Schools. She tutored a number of students at OU who needed to satisfy a French requirement for a graduate degree. She took every advanced French course available at Carroll College in Helena when she moved there in 1984. She was active in Plymouth Congregational Church in Helena. Mrs. Feaver is survived by her brother, the Rev. Edward Arthur Wicher Jr. of San Mateo, Calif.; sons, Eric of Helena, Edward of Quincy, Fla., and Douglas of Alexandria, Va.; five grandchildren, and three great- grandchildren.
