All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Havenbrook FH--Norman OK Havenbrook Funeral Home Obituary Patrick James Frensley Patrick James Frensley, 18, of Marietta Georgia died on Sunday, April 3, 2005, at Norman Regional Hospital. Born June 15, 1986, Patrick was the beloved only son of Mark Frensley and Ann Frensley of Marietta, Georgia. Patrick graduated in May 2004 an honor student of Sprayberry High School in Marietta where he was a member of the varsity cross-country, track, and swim teams. He was active in his church, the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, where he served as head acolyte. He was also employed as foreman for Our Spot Horse Farm through his high school years. Patrick was currently a freshman at the University of Oklahoma. He was member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity and the University of Oklahoma RufNeks and excelled academically as an OU Honor Scholar. He was the newly elected Rituals chair of his fraternity and had spent recent months preparing for Sooner Scandals with his brothers and the women of Chi Omega. He was also active in community service and had recently participated in the Cleveland County YMCA "Tie Dye Triathlon" and "The Big Event" campus-wide philanthropy project at OU. In addition to his parents, Patrick is survived by his paternal grandparents, Don and Betty Frensley of Norman; aunts and uncles, Marcia and Tom Urice of Norman, Krisand Tim Carr of Denver,CO, Janet and Alan Taylor of Snellville, GA, and Eileen and Timo Kokko of Okemos, MI; cousins, Jenny, Julie, and Katie Urice; Michael and Ryan Carr; Katie and William Taylor; Sean Kokko, Kyle and wife Heather Kokko. Patrick was a lifetime fan of OU football and also loved dirt biking, swimming, distance running, camping, and time with friends and family. Voted "Most Spirited" by his peers, Patrick was an active, outgoing, enthusiastic, and affectionate young man who lived every moment to the fullest. He loved his family, his friends, and his loyal dog, Bogey, and in turn was loved by all who knew him. He was devoted to Jesus Christ and was a faithful servant of God. Though he will be painfully missed, his family and friends find comfort in knowing he is with his Maker. There will be a memorial service at 3:OO p.m. on Monday, April 11 th at St. John's Episcopal Church in Norman. Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.
