She was a member of the Christian Life Fellowship Church. Her second family was Milton & Melba Hudson of Moore. She moved in with them when she was 18. Doris loved children. Her love for God and her families were her life. She was devoted to her church and considered them to be part of her family. She enjoyed sewing, collecting thimbles and dolls, & loving children. She was the best sister, aunt, great aunt, best friend, & special mom a person could have. She will always be in our hearts. Doris had been ill for many years, but is now healed & living in the presence of Jesus. Doris we all love you and you are going to be missed by all. We can see you now sitting at the feet of Jesus, surrounded by thousands of little children teaching them all about him. Doris is survived by her brother Phillip Ganoe & wife Ginny of Tustin, CA; sister, Shirley Funk of Long Beach, CA; nieces, Nola, Becky, & Melissa of CA; nephews, Jim & Stephen of CA; great nieces, Cailey, Corey, & Jessie of CA; great nephews, Jacob & Daniel of CA; & her second family, Milton & Melba Hudson of Moore & their children, Sherry Hurley, Vickie Sadler & husband Mark, their children, Stephanie & Josh Sadler all of Moore; & Greg Hudson of Dallas, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip & Frances Ganoe; & sister, Sandra Ganoe. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 14, 2003, at the Christian Life Fellowship Church, Moore, OK. Services will be under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
