Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church in Norman. Mrs. Griffith was born Sept. 24, 1916, in Hollis, to Clarence Henry and Olive Clyde Osborne Madden. She graduated with a B.A. in history from the University of Oklahoma in 1938. She married Brandon H. Griffith Dec. 1, 1938. During World War II, she studied electronics and participated in the research and development of the first guided missiles at Wright Patterson AFB. Mrs. Griffith is survived by her children, Cherry Kay and Hal Clifford of Oklahoma City and Pat and Bill Russell of Ransom Canyon, Texas; grandchildren, Harold Clifford, Brandy Selim White, Alison Selim Johnson, K.C. Clifford Broyles, Ellery Russell Veldhuizen and Maria Russell Kenney; and great-granddaughter, Abigail White.
