Mrs. Gross was a native of Norman, Okla. She lived in Ceres 16 years. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her caregiver, Gary Newson of Ceres; daughter, Berlinda Gross of Ceres; father, Jess Adkins of Bakersfield; brothers, John Adkins of Oklahoma and Curt Adkins of Downey; sisters, LaJuana Adkins of Nevada, Jewel Cox and Terri Crocker, both of Ceres, Alana Ohls of Kellogg, Idaho, and Diane Frothinger of Pomona; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel, Modesto.
