GROSSNICKLAUS SERVICES SET FOR TODAY. Funeral services for Mr. C. G. Grossnicklaus of Verden will be held today, June 21, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Verden, with Rev. William Frieson of Hinton officiating, assisted by Rev. Jim Robertson of Verden. Burial will be in the Verden Cemetery with the Hansen Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Music will be furnished by Mrs. Donald Brown, Mrs. Harry Dodson, Mrs. J. N. Kern and Mrs. C. W. Hamill. They will sing "In The Garden," "Take My Hand Precious Lord" and " Beyond The Sunset." Mrs. Ed Nelson will be pianist. Casket bearers are J. C. Wright, Ralph Megli, Ralph Hendrick, Fred Helmut, Claude Dodson, and Evertt Wise, all former neighbors. Charley Godfrey Grossnicklaus was born October 5, 1904 at Norman, Okla. and passed away at the Anadarko Hospital, Anadarko, on June 18, 1957 at the age of 52 years, eight months and 13 days. He was married to Miss Goldie Ann Hoselton at El Reno in 1924 where the family lived until they moved to Hinton in 1933. The family moved to an acreage east of Verden early this year. The couple had eight children. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. C. G. Grossnicklaus of Verden, Route 1; children, Fred Grossnicklaus, Chickasha, Frank Grossnicklaus of Dibble; Mrs. Dorothy Battenfield, Cheyenne, Wyoming; Mrs. Charlene Eroh, Wayne, Michigan; Mrs. Vesta Smith, Ada, Okla.; and Arnold, Carolyn and Charles Deyene Grossnicklaus of the home; seven grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Brunning, Okla.
