Hayes, Stephen D. "Steve"

Stephen D. 'Steve', 63, of Moore, OK, was welcomed into the loving arms of
his Savior on Aug. 11, 2005, after a courageous 9 month battle. He was
born Dec. 1, 1941 in Alton, IL to Arthur Lee Hayes, Sr. and Delores (Shea)
Hayes. He served his country in the US Navy. Steve faithfully attended
Shartel Church of God and was God's servant in the ministry for 17 years.
Steve retired from the State of Arizona. Preceded in death by his mother,
Delores Shea Hayes, Sister, Linda Ann Hayes, and infant son, Stephen David
Hayes, II. He leaves wonderful memories with his wife, Linda of the home;
Father, Arthur Lee Hayes, Sr. of Alton, IL; 5 Daughters: Donna Gaughan &
husband, Robert of Keene, NH, Diana Teel & husband, John of Ramona, CA,
Lori Sylvester of Wheat Ridge, CO, Natalie Marvick & husband, Steve of
Morris, IL, Licia Alcazar of Chicago Heights, IL; Son, Kirk Hayes & wife,
Anne of Crete, IL; 3 Brothers; 1 sister; 14 grandsons & 1 granddaughter;
several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Steve's family would like to thank
all the doctors, nursing staff, PT & OT and Wound Care Teams, for all of
their professional & compassionate care extended over these past several
months. Services to celebrate his life will be held 3:00 PM Saturday at
Shartel Church of God. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to
the Shartel Church of God Building Fund, 11600 S. Western Ave, OKC, OK
73170.
