Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman. Havenbrook Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ========= Norman Transcript 30 Jul 2003 Willis Hollis Hammack Willis Hollis Hammack, 72, of Norman died Saturday, July 26, in Norman. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman. Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman is handling arrangements. Mr. Hammack was born Aug. 14, 1930, in Hollis to Burl Eugene and Thelma English Hammack. He graduated from high school in Mt. Park. He served in the Air Force during Vietnam. He married Nora Schaufele March 31, 1956, in Lone Wolf. He attended Oklahoma State University and graduated from Cameron University. He retired as a colonel from the Air Force in 1974. He then farmed and ranched in Seminole and Pontotoc counties. Mr. Hammack was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Lee and Hilbert (Bob) Hammack; sister, Wanda Weatheridge; and grandson, Joshua Burklund. Mr. Hammack is survived by his son, David Hammack of Universal City, Texas; daughters, Joy Burklund and husband, Charles, of Norman, Susan Granger and husband, Jeff, of Otter Lake, Mich., and Audra Anderson and husband, Jeff, of Canton, Ga.; sisters, Ramona McCord and husband, Robert, of Tipton and Louise Farris and husband, Marion, of Rogers, Ark.; brother, Raymond Hammack of Oklahoma City; and 10 grandchildren.
