Services will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 10 at First Christian Church of Norman with the Rev. David Spain officiating. Mr. Jackson was born June 30, 1946 in Norman to Dorothy Lee and Elmer Lee Jackson, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Donna, his son Kevin Jackson and his grandson Ashton Conner Jackson of Norman. He is also survived by his sister Kay Stevens and husband Wes of Norman; nieces Kari Burks and Gwen Baird and nephew Brian Baird and wife Bonnie, all of Norman; nieces Kari Burks and Gwen Baird and nephew Brian Baird and wife Bonnie, all of Norman; uncle A.Z. Jackson and wife Melvina of Noble and their children David, Bonnie, Boyd, Allen and Scott. Mr. Jackson has been a member of the Cleveland County Cattlemen's Improvement Association and served as the organizations president for seven years. He was a member of the Cleveland County Fair Board, representing the Central District from 1984-1993 and served as president for seven years. He assisted in organizing the annual Heifer Show, Which was cosponsored by the Cleveland Fair Board, Cleveland County Cattlemen's Improvement Association and the Agri- Business Committee of the Norman Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the board of the Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas Rail Users Association and held membership in the Association of General Contractors in the states of Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and New Mexico; Oklahoma Asphalt Pavement Association, Oklahoma Aggregates Association; and Association of County Commissioners of Oklahoma. Mr. Jackson's employment history included CMI Corporation and Koch Oil. He was employed by Hanson Aggregates Central from 1994 until the time of his death and was the general sales manager for Western Rock Products and western Texas division of Hanson Aggregates.
