Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Norman with Chaplain Harry Smith officiating. Friends may visit today and Thursday at Havenbrook Funeral home. Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman is handling arrangements. Mrs. Kay was born Nov. 20, 1958, in Seminole, to Chuck and Joyce Cummings. She lived in Seminole until she was 11/2 years old. She then moved to Albuquerque, N.M., and moved at age 14 to Seminole to live with her aunt Carole and uncle Jim Robertson. She attended Seminole High School. She moved to Tulsa where she met and married Tim Kay. They were married April 29, 1979. Mrs. Kay served as a governess for Bob and Cyndi Beam’s four children while in Tulsa until she moved to Norman in 1986. She graduated from the Moore-Norman Technology Center LPN program with honors in 1988. She worked at Riveroaks Nursing Home and Rivermont Retirement Center in Norman. She was a homemaker for the last five years on her acreage near Lake Thunderbird. She enjoyed swimming, camping, fishing, gardening, children, animals and shopping. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephew, Sean and Melissa Livingston and Kristin and Melissa Simon. Mrs. Kay is survived by her husband, Tim of the home; father, Chuck Cummings and wife, Doris; mother, Joyce Parker and husband, Don; sister, Kim Livingston and husband, Greg; brother, Chris Cummings, all of Albuquerque, N.M.; and puppy, Spirit of the home.
