All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :NOT LISTED Norman Transcript 17 Sep 2003 Dawn Edwina (Rouse) Kempf Dawn Edwina (Rouse) Kempf, 43, of Norman, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, at her home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at her home. Mrs. Kempf was born Dec. 18, 1959, in Canadaigua, N.Y., and was raised around that area. She picked grapes as a teenager in vineyards. She graduated from Naples High School in Naples, N.Y., in 1978. She attended community college in Canandaigua for a period of time. She lived in other areas of New England before moving to Oklahoma in 1982. She came to Oklahoma with some friends as an ambassador of Jesus Christ. Her family said she came to Oklahoma to hold forth the greatness of God's word and God's love to whomever would hear. She devoted much of her time over the following 21 years in pursuit, study, consideration and practical application of the scriptures. She married David Charles Kempf Sept. 21, 1985, in Oklahoma City. They lived in and around the Oklahoma City area for the next seven years. They lived in Tacoma, Wash., in 1991 and moved to Norman in 1992. Mrs. Kempf attended the University of Oklahoma for a brief period of time where she studied core university material. Mrs. Kempf is survived by her father and mother, Frank and Grace Rouse of Naples, N.Y.; brother, Chip Rouse and wife, Barb, of Naples; sisters, Mary Shambo and husband, Howard, of Victor, N.Y., and Linda Matteson and husband, Greg, of Honeoye, N.Y.; two nieces; four nephews; and a grand- niece. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Cleveland County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/cleveland/cleveland.html
