Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at Fairview Maguire Cemetery in Noble, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma. Mrs. Loveridge was born on December 22, 1909, in Etowah, Oklahoma to Jasper V. and Sarah Caroline Darnell Hopper. She was a graduate of Noble High School and received a B. A. Degree from Oklahoma University. She married Theodore Loveridge in March of 1947, in Pittsburg, Kansas. In the early 1950's, Mrs Loveridge worked for Phillips 66 Petroleum Company, where she worked in the laboratory for approximately ten years. In the late 1950's, she moved to Buffalo, New York, and worked as a Librarian for Cornell University for many years. After retiring in 1972, she and her husband moved to Rogers, Arkansas. She returned to Norman in 1993. Mrs. Loveridge was the last surviving member of her family. Mrs. Loveridge was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore, in July of 1998, and her parents. She is survived by her step-son, C.W. Loveridge & wife, Peggy, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, nephews, Gene Bergstresser and wife, Nora, of Norman, Oklahoma, Ronald Hopper and wife, Vivian, of Bakersfield, California, Reginald Hopper, of Atohol, Idaho; Ray Motsenbocker and wife, Nita, of Plano, Texas, Voyd Hopper, of Rogers, Arkansas, and Jerry Hopper, of West Virginia; nieces, Shirly Grove and husband, Blair, of Norman, Oklahoma, Frances Hopper, of California, Milly Smith and husband, Bob, of Medford, Oklahoma, Peggy Gardner and husband, Lanny, of Norman, Oklahoma, Anita Mott, of Temple, Texas, Janice Slate and husband, Ralph, of Duncan, Oklahoma and, Gwen Hanson, of Colorado.
