Services are pending with Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman. ========= Norman Transcript 25 Oct 2003 William "Bill" Andrew Linihan Jr. William "Bill" Andrew Linihan Jr., 74, of Norman died Wednesday, Oct. 22, in Norman. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. today and Sunday at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Salyer officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Midwest City. Havenbrook Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Mr. Linihan was born Sept. 20, 1929, in Tulsa, to William A. and Allyene Linihan. He graduated from high school in Catoosa and graduated from Northwestern State College in Alva. He founded and operated Insulation Inc. for 40 years in Oklahoma City. He worked there until he was hospitalized. He married Christa L. Dalton Sept. 20, 1986. He was a member of the A.P.H.C.C. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing gin rummy with his friends at Quail Creek Men's Club. Mr. Linihan's family said he was a friend and mentor to all who were in need and will be missed dearly by his close friends and neighbors. Mr. Linihan was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Harold and Bob (Robert). Mr. Linihan is survived by his wife, Chris of the home; family, M'lisa Sheldon and husband, W.C., of Morganton, N.C., and their children, Will and Sam, Jeff Linihan and wife, Louise, of Edmond and their children, Will and Susie, Cara Duncan and her daughter, Taylor, Sandra Smith and husband, Bob, and their children, Sarah and Taylor, Matt Dalton and wife, Kathy, of Andale, Kan., and their children, Myka, Cami, Jake and Jackie Bruch; sisters, Mary Baker of Houston and Bernice Barry of Tulsa; brother, M.F. (Myrle) Linihan and wife, Thelma, of Tulsa; and many nieces and nephews. Bearers will be Alan and David Hanes, Chris Streets, Chuck Darr, Bill Wolfe and Phil Conners. Honorary bearers will be his neighbors, Jimmy Jones, Dr. Jeff Crook, Dan Hake, Dr. Terry Hill, Glen McElroy, Bill Higginbotham, Carl McFarland and Floyd Hodam. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Heartland Affiliation, Memorial Processing Center, P.O.
