All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Norman Transcript 19 Oct 2003 Larsh, Georgia Lee Georgia Lee Thomson Larsh, 85, of Norman, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003 in Norman. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman, with Rev. Bob Younts and Chaplain Harry Smith officiating. Public viewing will be held at the cemetery before services, which are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman. Mrs. Larsh was born Jan. 2, 1918 in Lebanon, Ill., to Charles and Emma K. Guenther Thomson. She grew up in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School. She married Howard W. Larsh in Lebanon on Sept. 4, 1938. They moved to Norman from Illinois in 1944. Mrs. Larsh attended the University of Oklahoma and was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She worked for many years as a librarian for the Bass Collection at the University of Oklahoma, and was an OU Sooners football fan. Georgia enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandson. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Larsh was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Howard, on July 30, 1993. Survivors include his son, Jonathan, and wife, Billie, of Norman and grandson, Gregory William Larsh.
