Mr. Muse, 91, died Friday (Oct. 11, 2002) at Rogue Valley Medical Center. He was born Feb. 1, 1911, in Moore, Okla., the son or Thomas and Birdie (Lusk) Muse. He had lived in the Rogue Valley since 1931. On May 28, 1938, he married Gladys Vincent, who survives. He served in the U.S. Army and in the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II. He was wounded in action and decorated at Okinawa in May 1945. He was a member of the Marine unit at the surrender of the Japanese in Tsingtao, China, on Oct. 25, 1945. He worked as a government trapper and in the lumber industry. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a brother, Bradford, Lakeport, Calif., and a sister, Mary Loper, Trail.
