Funeral services are pending with Mayes Funeral Directors of Norman. ========= Norman Transcript 04 Sep 2003 Edward T. McAuliffe Edward T. McAuliffe, 84, of Norman died Monday, Sept. 1, in Norman. A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at Mayes Funeral Directors Chapel in Norman. A funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Mayes Funeral Directors is handling arrangements. Mr. McAuliffe was born Sept. 24, 1918, in Williamstown, Pa., to Helen (Lentz) and Edward Joseph McAuliffe. He graduated from Williamstown Catholic High School in 1936. He was a member of the Army Air Corps. He married Pauline Lewis in 1944 in Tullahoma, Tenn. He was a logistics officer in procurement at Tinker Air Force Base until he retired. He enjoyed gardening and sometimes spent most of the daylight hours in his garden. He also enjoyed traveling and the arts with his wife, Pauline, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the St. Joseph’s Golden Agers. Mr. McAuliffe was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brothers, Joe and Fox. Mr. McAuliffe is survived by his children, Ann Kullich and husband, Gene, of Norman, Tom McAuliffe and wife, Marilyn, of Norman, Mike McAuliffe and wife, Brenda, of Austin, Texas, and Kevin McAuliffe and wife, Keleigh, of New Canaan, Conn.; grandchildren, Gina McDonald, Greg Kullich, Lauren and Emily McDonald and Tim, Keaton and Chloe McAuliffe; sisters, Mary Fetterof, Agnes Moss and Patricia Updegrove; brother, Barney James; great- grandchildren, Hunter, Gentry and Tate McDonald; and many nieces, nephews and other family.
