Maddox, 75, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 1998. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Allen Norris of Immanuel Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road. Mrs. Maddox was born in Noble, Okla. In 1949, she moved from Mangum, Okla., to Amarillo. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist. She married Arn Lee Maddox in 1939. He died in 1991. Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Smith and Mary Ann Bynum, both of Amarillo; two sisters, Shirley Beck and Carolyn Sue Pace, both of Indianapolis; four brothers, Leroy Taylor of Amarillo, Ed Taylor of Anacoco, La., Frank Taylor of Carrollton and Bobby Taylor of Columbus, Miss.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Cleveland County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/cleveland/cleveland.html
