Ralph E. Meador, age 86, of OKC, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 5, 2002. He was born on Nov. 9, 1916 in Noble, OK to Leroy and Bessie Meador. Ralph was a Staff Sergeant in the Army, stationed in the Aleutian Islands during WWII. He was a well-known ornamental iron worker. For 50 years, Ralph was an active member of West Tenth Street Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Bible teacher. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. Ralph is survived by his wife, Minnie Louise; three daughters: Sandra Schwinn and husband, Mike, Bixby, OK, Dorothy Liles, OKC; Karen Wood, Owasso, OK and seven grandchildren: Lori Ferrell and husband, Pete, Erich Schwinn, Jason Liles, Michael Liles, Christopher Liles, Jack Wood and Lisa Wood; three sisters, Evelyn Taylor, Fresno, CA; Alma Mankins, Visalia, CA; and Ruby Jean Trimble and husband, Charles, Houston, TX. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Mon., Dec. 9, 2002, at West Tenth Street Baptist Church, 6732 NW 10th St., OKC, with interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
