No services are planned. English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene is handling arrangements. Mrs. Milks was born March 18, 1912, in Buffalo, N.Y., to John and Flora (Weil) Davis. She married Horace Milks. She was raised and graduated high school in Buffalo. She took her first flying lesson in 1937. Mrs. Wilks and her husband moved to Hamilton, N.Y., in 1940 and built Colgate Flying Service. They operated a flying school that had a government program to train pilots during World War II. They moved to Watertown, N.Y., where Mr. Wilks managed the city airport. Mrs. Wilks kept the books for the airport. They moved to Cato, N.Y., where Mr. Wilks was a private pilot for Schuler Potato Chips. Mrs. Wilks continued to do bookwork for her husband. They moved to St. Augustine, Fla., where Mr. Wilks was a regional manager for Sunshine Bisquit Farms. Mrs. Wilks moved to Norman after her husband died in the late 1970s to be with her daughter, Joan Brady. She moved to Coeur d'Alene in December 2001. She enjoyed bowling, shuffle board, writing, writing in a journal, playing the piano and parties. While living in northern Idaho, she enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching deer and other wildlife. She loved her dogs. She was a former member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Milks was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Milks. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Brady of Coeur d'Alene; granddaughter, Terry and husband, Tom Howard, of Coeur d'Alene; great- grandson, Michael Patrick Howard of Coeur d'Alene; brother, Dick Davis of California; and sisters, Dorothy Fannin of Florida, Irene Walker of Williamsville, N.Y., Edith Adams of Buffalo, N.Y., and Nancy Little of Pennsylvania.
