Services are pending with Memorial Chapel Funeral Service in Noble. ========= Norman Transcript October 3, 2003 Mabel Arlene Mallory Mabel Arlene Mallory, 76, of Noble died Wednesday, Oct. 1, at her home. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. today at Fairview Maguire Cemetery in Noble with the Rev. Rodney Campbell officiating. Memorial Chapel Funeral Service in Noble is handling arrangements. Mrs. Mallory was born Oct. 22, 1926, in Norman, the only daughter born to Roy C. and Bertha (Anderson) Wells. She grew up in Norman where she helped her family on their farm. She married J.R. Mallory July 11, 1945, and they had three son. They moved from Wayne to Noble in 1978. Mrs. Mallory was a Baptist and was baptized at Maguire Baptist Church April 13, 1997. She was a stay-at-home mother. She enjoyed flowers, butterflies and fixing breakfast every Sunday for her children and grandchildren. Her favorite color was pink. Mrs. Mallory was preceded in death by her parents; son, Billy Mallory; and brothers, Leroy, Bill and Louie Wells. Mrs. Mallory is survived by her husband, J.R. of the home; sons, Glen and wife, Carol Mallory, of Noble and Roy and wife, Shawn Mallory, of Noble; grandchildren, Allan Mallory and wife, Tina, of Noble Wesley Mallory and wife, Debra, of Noble, Chris Mallory of Lexington, Jami Skinner and husband, Danny, of Lexington and Amanda Nydick and husband, Eric, of Purcell; great-grandchildren, Nicole and Brandon Mallory of Noble and Tyler and Trevor Skinner of Lexington; and many other family members and friends. Bearers will be Glen, Roy, Wesley and Chris Mallory, Danny Skinner and Eric Nydick.
