Powers, Phyllis J.

Phyllis J. Powers, 81, a retired florist, beloved mother, grandmother 
and great-grandmother, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2006.

Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral 
Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the 
Alzheimer's Association, North Central Texas, 101 Summit Ave., Suite 
300, Fort Worth 76102.

Phyllis J. Powers was born Feb. 21, 1925, in Cleveland, Okla. She 
attended Oklahoma University and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She 
owned and operated a flower shop in Norman, Okla.

Special thanks to the Keller Oaks Healthcare Home staff and residents 
for their loving care and friendship.

Survivors: Sister, Glynna Bass of Miami, Fla.; former husband, James 
K. Dodson; son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Tommie Dodson of 
Grapevine; daughters, Karen Litsey of Oklahoma City, Okla., Karla 
Dodson of Hurst; grandchildren, Norman Dodson, Amber Trotter, Aaron 
Litsey, Christine Caskey; great-grandchild, Destiny Dodson.
