Services were Saturday in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Rose was born Sept. 24, 1956, in Norfolk, Va. She was a seamstress and made costumes for the Miss Rose State Pageant, the Miss Black Rose State Pageant and the Miss Black University of Central Oklahoma. She was a proud Air Force wife and the family moved all over the world: North Dakota, Washington, D.C., Illinois, England and Germany to name a few places. She was a member of the 7th SOS Wives Club and the Bunko Club. She is survived by her husband, Gary Rose; one son, William Rose of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Ava and Tracy Rose, both of Oklahoma City; her mother, Hattie G. Holloway of Virginia Beach, Va.; and one sister, Audrey Holloway of Smithville, Va.
