Rollins, 96, of Norman, will be January 14, 2003, 10:00 am at the South Canadian Valley Church of Christ, where she was a member. Elder Glen Taylor and Elder Bruce Kessler will officiate. Burial will follow at Norman IOOF Cemetery, under the direction of Primrose Funeral Service. Mrs. Tressie M. Rollins, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 10, 2003. She was born November 17, 1906, to Joseph M. and Dora M. (Hull) King in Cleveland County. She grew up east of Norman in Franklin Community. Tressie married Floyd Rollins in September of 1929. She was employed for 20 years by Griffin Memorial Hospital, then went to work at the Oklahoma University Student Union Cafeteria. After leaving the University, she continued to work by doing ironing and housekeeping. Preceding her in death was her son, Floyd Lee Rollins (1989), her parents, her husband, two brothers and a sister. Mrs. Rollins is survived by two granddaughters, Shari Lucero and husband, Frank, of Albuquerque, NM, Rhonda Hudek and husband, Frank, of El Paso, TX; a grandson, Gary Rollins and wife, Myra, of Albuquerque, NM; a daughter-in-law, Barbara Rollins of Albuquerque, NM; four great grand- children, Mark and Kimberly Lucero of Albuquerque, NM, Lucas and Lindsay Hudek of El Paso, TX; three sisters, Agnes Daniels Marie Daniels of Norman; Edna Rowland of Milburn, OK and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
