All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Spengos M.D., Alexander Theodore "Alex" Alexander Theodore 'Alex' M.D., 43, of Norman, OK, passed away on January 15, 2003. Alex was born May 27, 1959 in Clinton, OK and grew up in Okla. City. He was a graduate of Putnam City High School, attended UCO in Edmond and then graduated from the OU School of Medicine in 1995. Alex completed his Family Practice residency in 1998 in Enid, practiced two years in Elk City and was currently practicing at the Chickasaw Nation Health System in Ada. Dr. Spengos was well respected in the medical community and by his patients. Alex was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore N. & Patricia Spengos. Alex is survived by his wife, Janet, son Gable, daughter, Jenna and his dog Rusty. Sisters: Betty Morrow and Fran Spengos, brother, Jim Spengos, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and the Utley and Schluchter families. When Alex wasn't doctoring he was a 'mister fix-it' project man. He loved wood working and carpentry. He was his children's best buddy, playmate and spent countless hours entertaining them. He was a wonderful, caring, loving, gentle husband and father. He did it all for his family without hesitation. Alex was a man of integrity and always wanted to do everything that encompassed his life in the 'right way.' He treated people with respect and kindness and will always be remembered for his great sense of humor. Alex was adored and loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. The family wishes to thank Dr. Gregory Parker and the Oncology nurses at Baptist Hospital for their care during Alex's battle with cancer. Service at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 20, 2003, Baggerley Memorial Chapel at 13313 N. Kelley, Oklahoma City. Burial immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery.
